In case you wondered why you're getting these emails every week, at some
point you must have told us you wanted to be a subscriber.  Usually, all
that means is getting an email from me listing what's new this weekend, and
sometimes also what came in mid-week if anything.

Today, however, there's a special opportunity.  I'm co-hosting a modest
house party to introduce Rachel Tolmachoff, an organizer for Swing Left
who's working in the 10th congressional district to "repeal and replace"
the current Republican incumbent with a Democrat.  The June primary is
especially important, because under California's goofy new "top two"
primary system, if the Democratic voters don't show up there could be TWO
REPUBLICANS on the November ballot.  Oy veh!

The event is tomorrow, Sunday, April 22, from 4-6.  If you'd like to come
