I’m asking you to hold out another few days….</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>This coming week I’ll be sending out the properly researched edition of the Ballot Guide, about the single ballot proposition on the Nov. 4 ballot: Proposition 50.</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>This proposition <i>puts to a vote of the people </i>the <b>suspension </b>of a <i>decision by the people </i>— the drawing, and the system of drawing — Congressional districts.</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>I will add a personal suggestion: Vote early <i>enough</i> — <i>on time — </i>to be counted. But don’t <i>rush to judgment! </i>Take the time to seek out different perspectives, different views, so that you can feel you’ve reached a well informed view. I don’t mean to say that your first impression is <i>wrong</i>, but when you do the reflection and let it sit for a day, for a week — you’re more likely to feel good about your decision.
