Tracy explores themes of trauma, imprisonment and liberation through the imagery of winged hearts and cages. Her community (he)art-making workshops work to resolve trauma and foster community resilience and social action. <br class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Her current exhibition is At the Heart of It All: Righting the World at the Museum of Sonoma County, Sept 28-Nov 10, as part of their annual Dia de Los Muertos exhibit. Tracy is giving an artist’s talk at the museum Saturday, Nov 2nd, 1-2 p.m. <br class=""><br class="">The centerpiece of this installation is a 9-ft winged heart tribute to the 500 activists around the world who have been murdered fighting for justice since 2018. These 500 names are inscribed on the heart and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth are etched onto the wings. The exhibition also features photographs and short films of Tracy’s Life on Earth Art Project.</div><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""> </font></div><div class=""><a href="https://www.facebook.com/tracy.ferron/videos/10220281124037815/UzpfSTEyMTk4OTQ4NTA6MzA2MDYxMTI5NDk5NDE0OjEwOjA6MTU3MjU5MTU5OTotNzQ4NjA4MTM3ODQ2MzMyOTY0MA/?__tn__=,dCH-R-R&eid=ARDtjR_hlWaRHX8XREDNVz9psW2hFDHszvaH_uIYAag0xBkkjE7P3MbK8tEC-aeaaf-JFCEQ6rxk21vl&hc_ref=ARRnbQfjK8qGzbDKsg0ZkQnjDWyFxLQByAPGQPIamSD4MCOJgDxayVxtfCEfvkHNA7o&fref=nf" class="">To view a quick video tour of the installation, click here</a><font face="Times New Roman" class="">.</font><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""> For more information, see her website at <a href="http://www.lifeonearthart.com/" target="_blank" class="">www.LifeOnEarthArt.com</a> or contact her at <a href="mailto:tracy@paganbaby.com" target="_blank" class="">tracy@paganbaby.com</a>.</font></div><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><img alt="DSC_0615-2(1).jpg" apple-inline="yes" id="4ECE94A5-D82C-41E8-B6A1-0F252229E1A2" class="" src="cid:ii_k26dj1514"><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><div class="gmail_quote"><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.8ex; border-left-width: 1px; border-left-style: solid; border-left-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); padding-left: 1ex;"><div class="" style="overflow-wrap: break-word;"><p class="MsoNormal"><img id="gmail-m_-2662117767678458889803846A9-BC71-4347-91C6-3180B8D6956B" apple-inline="yes" class="" src="cid:16e03d09c02fb68cea11"></p><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class="" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><font face="arial, sans-serif" class="">Tracy Ferron standing in her installation, <i class="">At the Heart of it All: Righting the World</i>. <b class=""></b></font></div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""> </font></p><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""></font></div></div><p class="MsoNormal"><img id="gmail-m_-26621177676784588892B6A3199-F371-4F7B-9FCF-291C8EF350BC" apple-inline="yes" class="" src="cid:16e03d09c025bce946f2"></p><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""></font></div><div class="" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><font face="arial, sans-serif" class="">Artist Tracy Ferron and <span class="" style="color: windowtext; text-decoration-line: none;">Jeff Nathanson</span>, Executive Director and Art Curator at Museum of Sonoma County.</font></div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""> </font></p><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""></font></div></div><p class="MsoNormal"><img id="gmail-m_-2662117767678458889E64634A9-A2C8-4F3E-ADD1-2B27C52B439E" apple-inline="yes" class="" src="cid:16e03d09c02ddc98a1e3"></p><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class=""><span class="" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Detail of artwork with the inscribed names of 500 activists killed since the beginning of 2018, </span><i class="" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">At the Heart of it All: Righting the World</i><span class="" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">.</span></div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""> </font></p><div class=""><font face="arial, sans-serif" class=""></font></div></div><p class="MsoNormal"><img id="gmail-m_-266211776767845888912532A74-43FE-4C3D-9110-8430D213C365" apple-inline="yes" class="" src="cid:16e03d09c0260b6ad484"></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Museum visitors watching films in art installation.</span></p></div></blockquote></div></div></body></html>
