February 2006

The International Butterfly Breeders Association to hold annual convention
at Asilomar.

Monterey, CA November 29, 2005: The International Butterfly Breeders
Association (IBBA) convention will be held at the Asilomar State Park
Conference Center in Monterey, California from February 17th through the
19th, 2006.

Commercial butterfly breeders, farmers, and exhibitors from across the US
and other parts of the world will gather to hear industry experts speak on
raising quality butterflies, advertising, business development, and other
educational topics of interest to the butterfly breeding business
community.

Key speakers will include Dr. Frank Davis of the USDA Insect Rearing
Laboratories and commercial butterfly farmers Dale McClung, Dean Kirkwood,
Gary Geer, and Fran LeMasters.

There will be opportunities for networking and viewing butterfly
merchandise and associated business equipment. A trip to the overwintering
site in Monterey will be followed by a special presentation on the Monarch
migration by Paul Cherubini.

Both amateur and professional breeders and exhibitors are welcome to attend
as well as anyone interested in the possibilities the butterfly and moth
breeding industry offers.

See the IBBA's website at http://www.butterflybreeders.org for more
