There are funds available to support participation in AZA's Professional
Training Program. Please remember that a course in "Techniques for
Butterfly Conservation and Management" will be offered this spring,
24-26 April 2006 in Gainesville, FL as part of the Professional Training

AZA Board of Regents Professional Development Awards
Deadline is October 1st

There are eight professional development awards available
to students that provide financial support to attend the
training program.

Each of the awards provides funding for:
- full tuition
- lodging at the double-room rate
- meals
- air travel up to $500
- round trip ground transportation from the airport to
course location
- $200 stipend

The application deadline is October 1 for the 2006 courses.

The Board of Regents has extended the deadline for Audubon
Institute staff affected by Hurricane Katrina until October
10th.
