Honeybees, Satellites, and Climate Change:  Free Public Event at the Library 
of Congress, April 3
 
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD is partnering with the 
Library of Congress, Science, Technology, and Business Division to bring research 
results of remote sensing observations of the Earth to the public.  Dr. Wayne 
Esaias is a research scientist using satellite remote sensing to understand 
the ecological impacts of climate change, and also a master beekeeper.  The 
public is invited to his presentation at the Library on April 3, "Honeybees, 
Satellites, and Climate Change," in which he will describe his investigation of the 
effects of climate change on honeybees and its implications for agriculture.
