The North American Pollinator Protection Campaign (NAPPC) is currently at work creating the first in a series of bioregional planting guides entitled Selecting Plants for Pollinators and is requesting photos of plants and pollinators found in the Eastern Broadleaf Forest, Oceanic Province (Bailey's Ecoregion 221).

(A map of this bioregion is attached; it includes the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and parts of Delaware, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.)

Please send me the following photos (preferably in jpg format) that we may have permission to use in the guide (all photographers will be credited):

1. A typical-looking natural landscape from the Eastern Broadleaf Forest
2. A Ruby-throated hummingbird
3. A bumble bee native to the area
4. A typical-looking farm scene from this bioregion
5. Any other photos of this bioregion's landscapes or pollinators

Thank you very much for your help, and please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,
Kat McGuire
