[Pollinator] Contact Your Governor About Pollinator Week 2009

Dear Pollinator Listserv,

 

2009 National Pollinator Week is set for June 22-28, and plans are in full
swing!  A letter asking each Governor to proclaim Pollinator Week at the
state level has already been mailed out and we are asking that each of you
write a letter to your own Governor.  

 

We need you to write to your Governor right away!  Your help is crucial, as
many states will not issue a proclamation without requests from citizens
from their state.  To get started, please go to
http://pollinator.org/pollinator_week_2009.htm to access Governor contact
information and a sample letter.

 

As a THANK YOU, if you send a letter to your governor before January 30, we
will mail you the Wildlife Habitat Council's 2009 calendar while supplies
last.  Just email info at pollinator.org with your physical mailing address
when you letter has been sent.

 

Your support is instrumental in ensuring the success of pollinator
protection programs.
