Call  Your Senators - Speak up for Two Critical Food Safety Amendments  
that: 

Support Conservation-Based Agriculture  Defend Local and Regional Food 
Systems








Make  Food Safer While Protecting the Environment, and Small and Mid-sized  
Farms.

Wild Farm  Alliance and our partners at the National Sustainable 
Agriculture  Coalition think that farms should be able to conserve and restore  
natural resouces, and have food safety plans appropriate to their  size and 
processing practices. 


Two  amendments will be offered when S. 510 comes to the floor.  
    *   The Manager's Amendment is essential to protecting  conservation 
values.  
    *   The Tester-Hagan Amendment is important for protecting the  supply 
of locally grown food.

to vote for  the Manager's Amendment and the Tester-Hagan Amendment to the 
Food  Safety Modernization Act.  We need a food safety bill that  protects 
conservation values and cracks down on corporate bad actors  without erecting 
new barriers to more local and regional food  sourcing.
