Hello All,

By invitation, Hank and Vera Jones were selected to be the Canadian Museum of Nature's Biodiversity Community Ambassadors for the Museum's national Earth Month celebration event on April 23, 2011, held at the Museum in Ottawa.

Hank and Vera were chosen because their Canadian 'Allbirch Pollinator Garden' in Ottawa's Constance Bay Village shows gardeners of all stripes how to easily increase biodiversity and pollinator habitat in all Canada's cities and towns.

Here is their webpage reporting their exciting day at the Museum, talking to many kids and their parents visiting from all across Canada! http://treenuts.ca/apg/museum/

Here is more news about the APG: http://www.canadiangardening.com/gardens/specialty-gardens/the-politics-of-gardening-bygone-bylaws/a/34885

To learn more about the Allbirch Pollinator Garden, just 'google' the name.

Cheers,
Hank and Vera
