Colleagues,

Please find below conference details for the upcoming NRCS Biology Webinar,
"Ecosystem Services provided by Bats: environmental and economic costs of
White-nose Syndrome and other threats to bat conservation" on February 7,
2013 at 1-2:30 pm (CST). The presenter will be Katie Gillies, Imperiled
Species Coordinator with Bat Conservation International
(kgillies at batcon.org). Katie states, "Bats provide critical ecosystem
services to America's farmers and foresters. Although bats face an array of
threats, the emergent disease, White-nose Syndrome, has devastated bat
populations in eastern North America and currently poses the greatest threat
to bat conservation. This webinar will discuss these threats to bat
conservation, and the environmental and economic costs associated with the
loss of over 5.5 million bats."

Please find below instructions for joining the webinar. We will record the
webinar and post it to the NRCS Biologists' SharePoint Site and S&T Library
in the event that you are unable to participate in the live webinar. Please
feel free to distribute this invitation to partners and cooperators.

We hope that you will be able to participate and welcome your feedback on
this and future webinars. Best regards, Bill
