Initiative conferences), please consider coming out to this talk at 7pm on
Thursday, Oct 24.  There will be something in the talk for those who know
virtually nothing about pollinators and pollination and for those who are
more knowledgeable.

Learn about bees in urban and suburban areas, including their preferred
nesting sites, flower choices, and how they are affected by increasing
urbanization.



The updated results of the Urban Bees project in Europe will be presented
by internationally renowned researcher Bernard Vassiere, with implications
for Guelph's own bee community.  Discussions will also focus on the types
of materials best for bee condos, and how to best attract pollinators to
your property.



Admission is free but donations are accepted to off-set the costs of
hosting the event.
