Hello,
One of my favorite Western native plants, Trichostema lanceolatum (turpentine weed) is blooming in my Southern Oregon neighborhood. Woodland skippers, Ochlodes sylvanoides, appear to be the primary pollinators of these plants, although certain bees occasionally visit them. I've been observing and photographing these plants for the past two years.

Thanks!
