Dear colleagues,

There is an exciting *new Ph.D. position* available to work on *butterfly
migration using weather radar at the University of Oklahoma* with Drs. Phil
Stepanian and Jeff Kelly. Monarch butterflies will be a focal species of
the project. I anticipate this will be ground-breaking work and a terrific
experience for students interested broadly in ecology and animal movement,
or more specifically in butterfly conservation, entomology, or remote
sensing. This is a funded and flexible position. Anyone who would like to
learn more or to ask questions about this position can email Phil at
step at ou.edu. We appreciate you forwarding this to those who might be
interested. Thank you!

Dara Satterfield
