[Pollinator] Pollinator Digest, Vol 2179, Issue 1

Hi all,

That is correct; it has been red listed for a number of years. Pursuing the
endangered species listing under the United States' Endangered Species Act
is a different endeavor, in which the Franklin's bumble bee stands to
receive Federal protection and funding for its conservation. These efforts
are complimentary, rather than a scenario in which one supersedes the
other. We appreciate everyone's efforts to have brought the Franklin's
bumble bee this far in getting the attention and assistance it deserves.

Best,
Jenni
