Career opportunity: Southwest Pollinator Conservation Specialist.


We are excited to announce that the Xerces Society for Invertebrate
Conservation is hiring a full time New Mexico-based Southwest Pollinator
Conservation Specialist. This position will be focused on building
connected, climate-resilient pollinator habitat in urban areas of New
Mexico, as well as expanding our pollinator conservation efforts in the
desert Southwest.


The successful candidate will provide outreach and training on pollinator
conservation issues, as well as technical support on the restoration of
native pollinator habitat. The Southwest Pollinator Conservation Specialist
will work with pollinator habitat and conservation specialists in the
Xerces Society’s Pollinator Conservation, Pesticide, Endangered Species,
and Community Engagement programs, and will also work closely with diverse
local partners to promote pollinator conservation in New Mexico and
adjacent states.


Location: Santa Fe or Albuquerque, NM.


Application Deadline: January 12, 2020.


Start Date: February 2020.
