Yup, it’s that time of year when the leaves fall and gardeners want to tidy
them up -- but wait, there are many good reasons for keeping the leaves.
Not necessarily all of them or everywhere they fall, but there are plenty
of places in your garden where you can #leavetheleaves. This week’s blog,
written by Scott Black, explains more.

We launched the initial leaves the leaves effort three years ago and since
then it’s spread to many other groups. It’s been really nice to see how the
idea has been picked up and adapted to local needs. It’s a simple thing you
can do, and may well be less effort than raking and removing everything.
It’s great when something that helps wildlife makes your life easier!
