Science Applications is recruiting a Biologist, GS-401-12/13 working in
Sacramento, CA for the R8 ARD-Science Applications.  As Western Monarch
Coordinator, you will be a key member of the national Pollinator
Conservation Center.  You will collaborate across FWS programs and Regions
and with others to develop and coordinate actionable science and
conservation for western monarchs.  Partners include tribes, state/federal
agencies, private landowners, industry groups, NGOs, and others working on
monarch conservation.

More about Sacramento, California:  Sacramento is near to a number of key
Western Monarch partner organizations.  Sacramento is also in the heart of
Northern California and farm-to-fork cuisine.  Its temperate Mediterranean
climate is ideally suited for outdoor activities year-round.  The
32-mile-long American River Parkway, one of the nation’s premier
greenbelts, provides excellent kayaking, biking, and birding, as well as
fishing for salmon, steelhead, shad, and striped bass, all within minutes
of the office.  San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, Napa
Valley, and the Pacific Coast are all close by.  Within a two-hour drive,
you can be at the ocean or your favorite ski resort, camping spot, or
entertainment location.  Summer months are sunny, dry and warm, with
