Our 2023 Bee Biogeography and Systematics (BeeBST) speaker series, hosted by the Centre for Bee Ecology, Evolution and Conservation (BEEc) and the Packer Lab at York University (PCYU), start this week with talks on new bee species, global bee diversity, and the origin of bees, with more each month. This Wednesday, Jan 25, 2023 at 11am ET, will be on "Resolving outstanding alpha taxonomic problems in Old World Andrena", by Dr. Thomas Wood.

The next talk, on Wednesday, Feb 22, 2023 at 11am ET will be on "Global patterns of bee diversity" by Dr. John Ascher.
