<DIV>The book "Practical Pollinator Biology" was awarded the Bronze Medal
in its class for publications and books at Apimondia, the world´s
apicultural fair and meeting in Australia, a few weeks ago. The book was
edited by Amots Dafni, Peter G Kevan, and Brian C Husband. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The book contains sections on pollination and pollinator conservation and
protection, including a quite comprehensive section on pollinator monitoring,
and the monitoring of pollination success. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The medal itself will arrive in Canada to be given to the publishers quite
soon, and at that time a press announcement will be made.</DIV>
