<font size=3 face="sans-serif">Monarch Teacher Network of Canada is pleased
to offer 11 workshops in 2012, including our first ever French language
workshop, on <i>Teaching and Learning with Monarch Butterflies.</i> Workshops
are hosted over two days and provide educators with the knowledge, skills
and resources to raise Monarchs in the classroom and create outstanding
learning experiences for their students. Introduce your students to concept
of pollination and habitat restoration through this unique and charismatic
pollinator.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">Skills development is central to
the workshops. Participants work with leaders to build confidence
and competence in the following areas:</font>
<ul>
<li><font size=3 color=#ff8100 face="sans-serif">Appropriate handling techniques;</font>
<li><font size=3 color=#ff8100 face="sans-serif">Care and feeding of Monarchs
throughout life stages;</font>
<li><font size=3 color=#ff8100 face="sans-serif">And tagging and tracking
of migrating Monarchs.</font>
<li></ul><font size=3 face="sans-serif">Workshops fees are <b>$95.00 (plus
applicable taxes)</b>, and include all resources, monarch rearing supplies,
curriculum oriented lesson plans and snacks each day.</font>
