Now that I'm home and slowly recuperating, I've been able to return to the task at hand and have just posted that installment. It deals with some interesting nature observations here in the Carolina Piedmont and in West Virginia's Appalachian Mountains—everything from weevils to blacksnakes and invasive plants to a stinky little skunk with a taste for eggs.
