If managed properly, pastures and rangeland can include many forbs (herbaceous flowering plant) – from forage legumes to wildflowers – that provide nutrients for livestock, pollen and nectar for honey bees, native bees and other pollinators, and even milkweed host plants for monarch butterflies. In this video, you will learn about how to manage the timing and intensity of grazing to both improve forage conditions on pasture and provide benefits to pollinators.
