His main gripe, which I wholeheartedly agree, is that they did not use proper taxonomy, even though the collections and identifications were available. Instead, they use barcode of life indices. </div><div><br></div><div>As I read the paper, I found that their sampling was rather limited and biased. Each city was sampled for a total of 81 person-hour per city! We have sampled St. Louis for three times as much for each year of our project.
