photo series, confirm them as shots of ichneumonids and be
willing to slap a genus name on them?

<div>Ichneumonids have been associated with
nectar-secreting orchids in the past but not in
Australia. In the northern hemisphere they are known to
pollinate Listera (now Neottia) in Europe and Listera or
Neottia ovata in California. A colleague in China has
found a Herminium species pollinated by ichneumonids at
>3000 in the Yunnan Himalayas. </div>

It is an ichneumonid (misspelled as "ichneumoniid" in the
accompanying text), but I don't believe it's an ophionine
(misspelled as "ophinine" in the accompanying text), but instead
something like a campoplegine. You'd need to get a good clear shot
of the wing venation into the hands of an ichneumon specialist.<br>

If you can get a good venation image to me, I can pass it along to
some such specialists.<br>
