Hello all,

I hope this email finds you well. Although it is a little late in the season, I am looking to recruit an MS or PhD student for a new grant-funded project on the climatic sensitivity of urban bees across the US. It is not too late to apply if you know any students who might be interested, including students who perhaps have been looking for jobs, but are now finding those job opportunities are more uncertain. The position would come with 2 years of fully-funded support for MS students, 4 years for PhD students, or 6 years of support for a student interested in doing our MS/PhD track. The support would come from a combination of TA and RA support.

The student would work closely with collaborators at North Carolina State University (Elsa Youngsteadt) and Kennesaw State University (Clint Penick), traveling to selected cities, working in teams. Applicants with background or interests in environmental physiology, bees (including both native species and honey bees), climate change, or urban ecology are particularly encouraged to apply.

Interested students should email kmcclun@bgsu.edu with a brief cover letter and a CV (including GPA... GRE requirements have been waived for this year), before submitting an official application to the graduate college.
