educational
webinar on the
topic of
Colorado’s
native bees
and native
wildflowers.
From
bumblebees to
mason bees,
sweat bees to
leaf cutter
bees, the
diversity of
bees in
Colorado is
incredible,
with around
950 species of
bees in the
state. We’ll
take a
cross-disciplinary
approach to
explore this
diversity,
combining
perspectives
from art and
science to
learn about
spectacular
native bees
and the native
plants they
pollinate.
Have you ever
wondered why
bees choose to
visit
different
types of
flowers, how
scientists
study bee
populations,
and how
changes in
global
temperature
are impacting
flowering
seasons?? Join
us to learn
about these
topics and
more.<br>
