to join our team in 2022. Funding is available to support a postdoctoral position
in the laboratory of Dr. Shelley Hoover in the Department of Biological
Sciences, University of Lethbridge. <span style="color:black">The postdoc position
is funded for 3 years at $54,000 CDN per year plus benefits, research support,

with unpredictable weather caused by changing climate, understanding the effects
of extreme weather on crop yield and bee health are critical to improve both agricultural
sustainability and food security. This project will provide much needed
information on the effects of extreme heat and drought on canola production and
pollination, in anticipation of increased frequency of extreme weather events.
By examining the yield of canola exposed to different combinations of heat,
drought, and pollination, we will examine the interactive effects of climate
change drivers on the relationship between plants and pollinators. </span></p>

require a PhD in biology, environmental science, agriculture, or a related
field. Knowledge of plant reproduction, bee biology, and pollination would be
