<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px;"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" data-darkreader-inline-color="">Solstice and year's end Greetings,</span><div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" data-darkreader-inline-color=""><br></span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" data-darkreader-inline-color="">It has been tumultuous couple months. <br>Due to the Kincade Fire mandatory evacuation for our region at the end of October and then being ill with a bad flu for weeks we were out of commission most of November. <br>This has precipitated numerous problems. <br>The fire never came near us but a lot of plants were damaged by high winds and lack of water while we were gone and while we were sick. We started having significant frosts during this time which caused additional damage to plants we had not had the chance to move to protected locations. </span><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">The last few weeks I've been scrambling to salvage plants and complete winter preparations.</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Because of all this I have been forced to push back completing the new </span><strong>Rare Plant List</strong><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> and other projects. At this time I realistically hope to get the RPL completed and mailed some time in mid/late January. Due to tech problems I've not been able to print </span><strong>catalogs</strong><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> in some time and I have a backlog of requests. I also hope to have this remedied and catalogs sent to those waiting soon. I was planning on holding a</span><strong> plant auction fundraiser</strong><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> this fall but it is now clear that I won't have the time or energy for such an auction for at least a few months. We'll keep you posted. </span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Some issues with the website meant we were not able to post any updates until recently.
