weather propagation we were not able to complete must now wait until
next year. While the days are still warm and languorous, we know our
first rains and frost are typically only a few weeks away. We are
preparing the nursery for the seasonal change, returning plants to the
safety of the greenhouse, encouraging succulents towards dormancy for
their dry winter slumber. We'll soon endeavor to sow a medley of things that we never got to last winter -- various tree, shrub and bulb seeds
