remember i was able to go because, for once, it didn't conflict
with extended-family summer plans i LOVED it. it was magical. and
yet, i haven't been since... because of timing conflicts. </p><p>i'll be thinking of your camp, the program sounds fantastic...and

<div>This particular weekend was one of the few that was available
to us when we booked Monte Toyon after last year’s camp. At the
time I thought the big benefit for October would be not much
competition – but evidently not! I’d love to hear suggestions
from folks about good weekends/bad weekends in the fall to host
our camp next year.</div>

Hi, Slow Session folks!
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Community Music School’s annual music camp for
grownups is happening in just a few weeks in Aptos –
and <b>registration closes this Friday</b>. We’ve
got John Weed teaching Irish fiddle, Rebecca
Lomnicky teaching Scottish fiddle, and Ian Ly (a
Santa Cruz native who won the National Flatpicking
Championship) teaching guitar. We also have
facilitated slow and fast sessions. We can even
create a space specifically for a Slow Session jam,
where your songbook is welcome! </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Here’s a <a href="https://www.communitymusicschool.org/redwood-music-camp" moz-do-not-send="true">link to more information
and registration</a>, but I’ll attach the workshop
schedule to give you a preview. I hope that you can
join us!</div>
