a week-long camp in the Mendocino headlands From
Friday July 31 through Sunday August 9 (it's deep in
the forest and near the coast, so it's not hot). I've
been to this one several times and it's now on my
must-go-every-year list. You can go to any class any
time you want, and <a
href="https://schedule.larkcamp.org/2026/workshops/"
class="ydpa77c7e05yiv9632406103" rel="nofollow"
target="_blank" moz-do-not-send="true">the list of
classes and workshops</a> is huge. It has a strong
Celtic center, but also much music from the European
mainland, the Middle East, and Central America. Food
is provided, you can choose to sleep in cabins or
bring your own tent or small RV.</div>

Moon</a>, right here in Boulder Creek. It's Alasdair
Fraser's Scottish fiddle camp, and it's from Friday
August 28 through Saturday September 5. I haven't been
to this one (yet) but it's highly regarded by those
