From nbs at sonic.net Thu May 21 06:29:53 2026 From: nbs at sonic.net (Bill Kendrick) Date: Thu, 21 May 2026 14:29:53 +0100 Subject: [atariparty] Northern California Atari 8-bit user in seek of disk transfer Message-ID: Hi all! If anyone here is still in Northern California (I am not; I'm in York, England now!), and has an Atari 8-bit, floppy disk drive, and a way to get files off of disks and onto a modern storage format / onto the Internet (e.g., an SIO2SD, FujiNet, etc.), let me know. Someone on Facebook, over on the "Atari 8-Bit Home Computer Group" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/440706219596807/) is seeking some help. I'll put you in touch. I've also directed him to SLCC (San Leandro Computer Club), which still meets, and still has some 8-bit'ers. :-) Thanks! Hope all is well! -bill! So keep me in mind if his search is fruitless. That's fascinating that you are in England now(I thought I misread it at first and it was New England you were located)!
