	Intensive Spanish Summer Institute
	2013 Celebrating 20 Years!!

	Learn Spanish and have fun in beautiful South Lake Tahoe at the Intensive Spanish Summer Institute (ISSI) at Lake Tahoe Community College, August 12 – 16, 2013. This week-long Spanish immersion program, now in its 20th year, has been recognized by the California Community College Board of Governors as an Outstanding Community College Program and has received numerous awards and commendations. The Institute offers students 12 levels of language study with over 90 cultural breakout sessions. Whether you are a beginner or superior student, we have something for you. Breakout sessions include: cooking, dance, history, grammar, travel, conversation, literature and much more. The approximate cost is $165 for California residents for 2.5 units (subject to change), transferable to CSU. This includes the full day institute and materials fees. Additional units are available, up to 4 units total.
	Registration Procedures
	All students, new and returning, must apply or update their application before registering for ISSI. Use Passport on the LTCC website. Then, you may complete the on-line registration.

	Registration dates

		Continuing Part-Time students: Thursday, May 30 (must be enrolled in spring 2013 quarter)

		Returning (Former ISSI) students: Friday, May 31

		New Students: Monday, June 3
