Sure, if you do need/want to run your own incoming SMTP server I'm sure it's good, I was just pointing out that for a lot of normal use the whole Google Apps + fetchmail combo is rather good (and free).

I use PMAS from Process Software (the same guys who make Multinet).   They
have a hobbyist license program and PMAS actually works pretty well at
weeding out the SPAM, but it has become something of a CPU hog in recent
releases.
