That's working now - I have a multinet link to STAR69 and the rest of
HECnet :-)

I am going to have to jump to it and move STAR69 to my my HP server (wonders of virtualisation!!) so I can use the Atom system as a working box and don't keep having to reboot or crash STAR69 trying to do something silly :) I have a second NIC for the HP on the way to allow me to do it without dealing with the awful mess that is setting up a tap/bridge in Ubuntu - why can't it be as easy as BSD??
