  WTF?!   I've done DOZENS of installs from that image.   Dozens.   Never
saw that.

  Oh, wait...MT0:...TU10?   It thinks it knows how long the tape is, but
it's not getting it right.   Attach it as an MSCP device, say tq0, and
boot from that.
