The error is;

Please mount volume ESP_DATA in device _ESP1$DKA200:

The problem with copying is that atm, the machine is an island unto itself and I've nowhere to copy it to. I wanted to get IP up so I could ftp it out.

If I get that far, do you guys have a copy of 6.2 and RDB etc that I can install from? i wanted dont want to weigh the Vaxstation down with the extra lines of code in the current version. I've got a RX3200 for that. I even thought of putting on 5.5

Copy SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]LMF$LICENSE.LDB and you'll have all your current
licenses.

I glanced over your other post.   What error are you getting about a missing
disk?
