Yes. And you had/have a special tool to locate them and print them out:
ident

1995? Not neccesarily SCCS. Lot of other revision control systems had
been around for a while by then...

    Oh, I didn't realize it was that late. (and apparently I didn't pay
attention to those date stamps! ;))   I was using CVS by then.

Even more fun, for those who care... The image format is (still) that of RSX headlerless tasks.
