[HECnet] New IP for LEGATO...

Hi Michael,

Yes, you can connect to LEGATO, and yes, it is a Multinet "DECnet over
TCP/IP" tunnel. Do you already have a HECnet node name and address
assigned?

I'm afraid I haven't used the VAX as a file server for a number of years,
but when I did it was via Samba.

Bob,

From your emails on HECnet, it looks like you support others connecting
to HECnet through LEGATO. Is this via Multinet? If so would you might
allowing me to connect/route through Legato?
I have a AlphaServer 800 running Multinet.

Also I looked at your website JFCL.com and was curious if you still used
your VAX as your home file server? Are/were you using Pathworks?

Thanks

Michael Holmes

As always, decnet.jfcl.com points to the correct address, so if your end is
using that you just need to restart the link.
