[HECnet] Welcome to hecnet

Allison,
I also wish you a warm welcome to HECnet. I am also primarily a Qbus
PDP-11 fan with CPUs including 11/23, 11/23+, 11/73, 11/83 and a
Mentec M100-04 (11/93). I mostly use RSX but a bit of RT-11 mostly on
MINC. One thing I would love to find is
RT-11 DECnet. It was a Phase III implementation but would still
connect to Phase IV RSX systems (just not on ethernet) and be a big
improvement over Kermit on a serial line.

Also, for anyone interested, the RT-11 FEP/FRP package has been
recovered for RT-11. There is also supposed to be a RSX version of it
but it was not widely used and is still lost.

Best,

Mark Matlock
