I thought Android was written in Java or maybe Javascript. Jim Gosling 
wrote Java and there is JRE for (at one time) solaris and there is for 
Windows and Linux.

And earlier when I mentioned VMS I meant and DEC and their machines 
PDP-11 and VAX.
