Been there. Done that. In space nobody can hear your sigh of disappointment. Sorry :)

It’s particularly sad in that one of the developers in the original project died fairly recently.

I live in hope still that I can find the compiler I used.

There is also an Agol68 to C converter.  I have never tried it.  It is supposed to accept the Algol68RS dialect.   If you search on the term "algol68 download" you should find it immediately.

already chased a few of these down?
