[HECnet] Apparently good news from VSI

Either the cabin fever is causing me to make illogical statements or I'm trying to program myself to the possibility of tolerating VMS on another Intel architecture.
I suspect the former, given the disgusting things I've done in a mixture of Bliss32 and Macro32 over the past few days. I'm ashamed.

I can see an Alpha, but why would you want a wacko architecture created by Intel? It's not as if they have any track record of designing nice CPU architectures.
