  Speaking of all this, what about the mailing list "hecnet at update.UU.SE" ??

  FWIW, I have for years kept a GNU mailman list for HECnet.  Nobody is subscribed to it at the moment, but it has an archive of the HECnet emails going back several years.  People are welcome to start using that, although it really needs to be a group decision.  Won't work to have some move and some not...
