Creative Writing for Teens with Claire Drucker, M.F.A.

Are you looking for a creative outlet for your teen before high school starts?
In this writing workshop, we will coax out stories and poems through a variety of writing exercises, such as word play, pass the story, found objects, and theater games, to name a few! Your teen’s imagination will be encouraged to express feelings, thoughts and ideas in an inspired, exciting and interactive way. Want to write a monologue in your great-grandfather’s voice? Or a love poem to a mountain? How about a story involving a magical clock, a secret bracelet, and two cousins who save the world? We will engage our crazy, introspective literary selves with dozens of writing exercises that will provide your child with new work and tools for more writing in the future.

Mon-Friday, Aug. 8-12th, 2016
