My Mother,
Mother’s Mother,
Mother before her, them,
handed down through our bones
our blood.

Tapping into a rich heritage
bonding with the old
creating anew,
I cook, clean,
come together within myself.
An inner expression
shared openly, lovingly
with those in my presence.

Passover is a gift
of history
