Poetry Is A Temple
 
Poetry is a temple,
a dreamstream swimming with otters,
a portal into the night sky
 
Poetry is the electric blue presence
of dragonflies,
the girlish giggle of ferns dancing
in the soft misting rain
 
Poetry soars on the lonely cry
of a hawk,
grovels from the rumble of the mountain
 
Poetry drinks the butter rum of sunlight,
trembles and moans
for Beauty
