Void of Course Circle
Some nights, as the moon does for the sun,
The Almost Cult
Stays up navigating (void of course)
Stoned out of their minds again on the beauty of God
Dancing and praying
Falling spread eagle
Through the expanding universe
Dying
With laughter
Guilt and worry free
They unfold
Surrender and melt.
As If it mattered,
They recite the nine words
And the one rule
But never mind
Forget the restrictions
Either you are a falcon or a storm
A rock or a star
Or you are a troubled guest
Or you die and grow
Ask the source of God
Consult the timepiece
Hear the ancestors
Calling from within your very bones
For the final round to begin
Just sit there
Don't do a thing
Just Rest.
