Women's Writing Group

> Clare Shields will be offering a Women's Writing Group this summer. They will meet on Zoom each week for ten weeks on Tuesday evenings for 2 hours from 6:30 until 8:30pm. The total cost will be $500.00 for all 10 weeks.
> The group is scheduled to start as soon as Clare has 4 to 5 committed participants. This is a Women's group and not a writing class. They will meet to explore the written word as well as the oral tradition in poetry, prose and longer pieces including those working on a novel. Previous professional writing experience is not a prerequisite. The novice as well as the published writer are equally welcome. Clare herself has been writing poetry for years. Since the beginning of Covid Clare has been one of a team of leaders for a drop-in poetry group that meets twice a month on Zoom. There will be a free confidential video call prior to starting to ensure a good fit for the group.
